The American dream!
Here I come!

At age 7, I had to pack my entire life into one suitcase. With the GPS set to "better life", my family and I headed from Wadern, Germany to Sarajevo, Bosnia to Rijeka, Croatia then Omaha, Nebraska. One problem... I didn't speak english, none of us did.

I saw how hard my parents worked and I felt the sacrifices they made. More than anything I wanted the entire family to spend time together. It turned out, money was the reason their time was consumed with work vs family. I thought to myself, "If only I could make enough money, I could spend time with my parents."

By age 14, I realized school was just a distraction and all I wanted to do was turn $10 to $20 and $100 to $200. I was obsessed. I naturally gravitated to the entrepreneur world. The hustle was what I was programmed for.

$0 to $100k in 10 Months

It was my first "success" online.

I got my first business partner at age 17. We started Changing Lanes International.

The networking, hard work, and learning from people more successful than me had paid off. We made $100,000 in 10 months with 90% margins. I realized the power of people and associations. If we truly want to achieve success, we cannot do it alone.

Who could I associate myself with that would make all the difference for me? Ah, Gary Vee!

This was my chance.

This was where I decided I was going to work with Gary Vee. How was I going to do that? How was I going to stand out amongst all the other people that wanted his attention? I had no idea. I just knew it was going to happen.

I put my mind to it. I tried every possible scenario I could think of.

  • I emailed him at 5am every day.
  • I upgraded a VIP ticket to the Traffic and Conversion Summit to see if I could get closer to him.
  • Then, the brilliant idea came. I showed up at 4am to the conference and pretended I was the "AV guy".

I ran up the stairs to ask for a picture. I acted like my phone wasn't working right to buy time so I could ask to work for him.

He said yes!

Haris is young, hungry, and extremely hard working.
